Originally recruited from Australia Darrin arrived in HK in 1989 and worked in HK’s most elite salons before opening The Hairdressers in 1997. Darrin’s style and approach to hair has a mix of technical and freehand techniques and was once branded HK’s best colourist for Blondes by Elle magazine UK. Darrin is a strong all round stylist but exceeds in cutting, styling and coloring with a very practical, honest and direct approach to what is really possible. Always striving for the best Darrin has participated in numerous hair shows, seminars, print and media advertising, Miss HK, Miss Chinese International and many more throughout Asia and has been an integral part in hair design for many , local and international designers. Over the last 23 years Darrin has had the opportunity to work with some of the biggest names in hairdressing from all over the world.

With his quiet manner, consistent quality of work Willie is a stable and reliable member of The Hairdressers team but don’t let his quietness fool you, he has a quick wit and always a few surprises up his sleave. You know they always say you need to watch out for the quiet ones. A quality all round stylist Willie is patient and always takes the time to listen to his clients needs.

Rennae has been in Hong Kong since 2006 working for ‘thehairdressers’. Her international experience lies in both Sydney and Melbourne salons. She has participated in many aspects of the Australian Hair industry such as IHS Hair Shows, Mercedes Australian Fashion Week, and Melbourne Fashion Week. In addition to being an excellent stylist Rennae is also a professional makeup artist who has worked on many international magazines, films and TV within Australian. Rennae is a very proficient colorist and is a specialist with curly difficult to manage hair always offering professional styling tips to her clients.

Chiga is our stylist from Japan. Chiga escaped Japan early and has worked throughout New Zealand and Australia before landing in Hong Kong. Chiga arrived in Hong Kong in 1998 and joined the hairdressers in 2001 and is still a stable and consistent member of the team. Chiga is a solid all round stylist versatile in both Western and Asian hair types. Chiga has become well known for her problem solving techniques with any unfortunate hair mishaps. The core of operations at TH2, our ex-gangster girl Vivi takes care of all your bookings and service needs. With her constant up beat, energetic and friendly manner Vivi always goes out of her way to help provide the high level of service expected at The Hairdressers. Vivi always strives to better herself and the environment around her. With a tough job of keeping everyone in line Vivi manages to keep it all together with a smile. Not just a receptionist Vivi is the backbone of the salon and keeps everything running as smooth as possible.

Chris was born and raised in Hong Kong and has been hairdressing for over 12 years. Chris was train in the UK by Vidal Sassoon and Alan D hairdressing school. Chris likes to travel around the world learning and getting to experience different cultures and fashion trends. Chris has fun loving and always upbeat personality. With a wide range of hairdressing skills Chris always strives to give his clients the optimum results. Chris is proficient in doing Asian, Caucasian, men’s and woman cutting/styling , colouring , perming ,straighting , hair up and hair extension. Through his career Chris has been involved in multiple fashion shows, hair show, and magazine shoots. Chris is very interested in fashion and follows all latest trends.

Originally from Germany Janine has 10 yrs in the Hairstyling Industry and applies the German perfection to her work! Janine Worked in Vienna for 4 yrs before landing in Hong Kong just over 2 years ago. Janine specialises in cutting, colour, styling and Loves up styles. “Wigs Styling”, cutting and Shaping the wig to your Choice is another of her specialities.

A Vietnamese girl who grew up in Toronto with 7 yrs international hairdressing experience before joining The Hairdressers in 2006. Trang is the youngest of the team but this artistic girl loves fashion and lives by the latest trends and styles! Trang was trained with Pivot Point and is competent in colouring, cutting, styling Up styles (a specialty) and one of the only stylist in HK to do AFRICAN HAIR!! (Relaxing, dreads, styling and Cornrows!) Trang is also a master with hair extensions for the ultra glamour Hollywood look! This girl is set to be a star in the business so keep an eye out.

A Mainland born girl, moved to Australia, trained and achieved DISTINCTIONS for her hairdressing certificate in Sydney. Maggie lived in Australia for 9 yrs before deciding to move back to her Asian roots! With her Mandarin, Cantonese and English she’s got the best of all worlds. Maggie can cater to all your colour, cutting, styling, up styles and an expert with the latest straightening techniques! Maggie is a very patient and precise stylist who takes the time to really listen to her clients needs. Maggie is one of the only stylists in HK trained in the Brazilian style straightening process.
