Darrin Usher founded the Hairdressers in May 1997. After managing one of Hong Kong’s more prestigious salons for six years Darrin discovered a greater need to service a new market. His focus was to open and operate a boutique style salon offering the same high standard of service but at a more moderate price level.
The Hairdressers offers a retail environment that is usually characterized as a “ Chic Lifestyle” salon, which reflects a personalized touch for customers. It attracts a broad range of both male and female, local and expatriates between the ages of 15 to 60 years of age who frequent the salon as it sets itself apart from other less charismatic, pretentious salons and is certainly not limited to hair alone.
